Cyber Training Instructor – Adult Programs

About the role

CYBERLABS is seeking a Cyber Training Instructor for its adult programs. The instructor will lead both classroom‑based and online sessions, guiding learners with little or no technical background toward a career as SOC analysts.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lessons on cyber security, networking, operating systems and professional security tools.
• Facilitate hands‑on exercises in virtual lab environments.
• Explain complex technical concepts in clear, structured language.
• Answer participants’ questions, provide personal guidance and track learner progress.
• Identify knowledge gaps, adjust pacing and incorporate real‑world attack/defense scenarios.
• Assist in updating study materials to reflect the latest developments in the cyber field.
• Collaborate with the program team to continuously improve the learning experience.

Required profile

• Practical experience in cyber security, IT or SOC environments.
• Strong knowledge of communication networks, protocols, operating systems and system security.
• Familiarity with security tools, command‑line interfaces and both Linux and Windows platforms.
• Proficiency in SOC SIEM environments and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Excellent technical English, patience and a service‑oriented approach.
• Willingness to teach evening classes and work independently.
