Customer Engineer – Kiryat Gat

About the role

As a Customer Engineer at Applied Materials you will be the primary technical liaison for our customers in Kiryat Gat, ensuring their semiconductor equipment operates at peak performance. You will work on the installation, maintenance, and upgrade of advanced manufacturing systems while collaborating closely with senior field service engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and upgrade customer equipment in the field.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Use digital analytics and basic diagnostic techniques to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Coordinate directly with customers to ensure smooth operation and high‑quality service.
• Collaborate with senior engineers for complex problem solving and knowledge transfer.

• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to work independently on sophisticated equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for direct customer interaction.
