Credit Solutions Associate I

About the role

As a Credit Solutions Associate I you will join HSBC Innovation Banking in Israel, supporting the growth of early‑stage, high‑growth technology and life‑science companies. You will work on venture‑debt facilities, credit lines, due diligence, deal structuring and portfolio management while collaborating with internal partners.

Key responsibilities

• Structure venture‑debt facilities and credit lines that balance growth opportunities with downside protection.
• Perform underwriting tasks including KPI analysis, market analysis, financial modeling, forecasting and scenario analysis.
• Maintain accurate internal documentation of debt facilities, financial reporting and risk ratings.
• Build and operate a portfolio‑management framework for timely reviews of client performance.
• Support end‑to‑end credit‑process operations, including systems, workflows, controls and continuous improvement.
• Develop a solid understanding of HSBC’s banking products and markets.

Required profile

• Eligibility to work in Israel (no visa sponsorship).
• Undergraduate degree from a reputable university in a relevant field.
• Strong ability to analyse business models, financial statements, competitive landscapes and KPIs.
• Curiosity about technology trends, the startup ecosystem and venture capital.
• Willingness to wear multiple hats and collaborate with clients and internal teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Hebrew.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
