Credit Solution Associate I

About the role

Join HSBC Innovation Banking in Israel as a Credit Solution Associate I. You will help structure venture‑debt facilities and credit lines for high‑growth technology and life‑science companies, supporting balanced growth while managing downside risk.

Key responsibilities

• Perform underwriting functions including KPI analysis, market analysis, financial modeling, forecasting and scenario analysis.
• Document debt facilities, prepare financial reports and assign internal risk ratings.
• Build and maintain a portfolio‑management framework for timely performance reviews by senior credit approvers.
• Communicate client performance internally and support end‑to‑end credit‑process operations, including systems, workflows and controls.
• Develop a solid understanding of HSBC’s banking products and markets.

Required profile

• Eligibility to work in Israel (no visa sponsorship).
• Undergraduate degree from a reputable university in a relevant field.
• Strong analytical ability to assess business models, financial statements, competitive landscapes and KPIs.
• Curiosity about technology trends, the startup ecosystem and venture capital.
• Willingness to wear multiple hats and collaborate with clients and internal partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hebrew.
