Controller – Finance Department for Hire

About the role

We are looking for a Controller to act as the finance department for our client companies. You will work on‑site alongside CEOs, managing a portfolio of clients and delivering full‑cycle finance services rather than just reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage a portfolio of client companies, acting as the primary finance contact.
• Participate in daily management update meetings to align on priorities and decisions.
• Build, monitor and analyse cash‑flow forecasts and budgets, presenting results to management and boards.
• Prepare financial statements, coordinate audit processes with external auditors, and handle tax matters.
• Collaborate with CEOs, internal finance teams, vendors and banks to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Leverage a back‑office bookkeeping and payroll team while maintaining overall responsibility for outcomes.

Required profile

• Valid CPA license.
• 1‑3 years of experience after internship in audit, controllership or finance management (Big 4 or comparable firm).
• Full command of IFRS and Israeli accounting standards.
• High‑level English for communication with international parent companies.
• Professional Hebrew for day‑to‑day work with Israeli management teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work directly with CEOs and shareholders.
