Commercial Portfolio Manager

About the role

The Commercial Portfolio Manager maximizes value generation and access of Novartis' product portfolio through innovative go‑to‑market models, commercial alliances, and lifecycle management. This hybrid role is based in Israel and works closely with regional and in‑country functions.

Key responsibilities

• Own commercial performance and value optimisation of mature and end‑of‑lifecycle brands, including onboarding, budget, analytics and stakeholder responsibilities.
• Develop and execute brand strategies and annual plans aligned with portfolio objectives, market dynamics and customer needs.
• Partner with Legal, V&A, Supply Chain and Finance to estimate post‑loss‑of‑exclusivity volume and inform lifecycle decisions.
• Identify opportunities to maximise portfolio value through innovative commercial models, strategic partnerships and resource optimisation.
• Design and execute integrated omnichannel engagement plans, ensuring compliant digital content reaches priority customers.
• Manage portfolio budgets, forecasts and monitor brand performance using market and performance insights.

Required profile

• University degree in science or business; advanced degree in bioscience, medicine, business or management preferred.
• Fluency in English and Hebrew is mandatory.
• At least 2 years of experience in brand management, marketing, commercial excellence or portfolio management.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% locally in Israel and a valid driver’s license.
