CISO as a Service Consultant

About the role

abra's Cyber division is looking for a senior CISO as a Service Consultant to lead information security initiatives for its customers across Central and North Israel. You will work in a hybrid model, shaping security strategies, governance, and compliance for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute CISO‑as‑a‑Service engagements, including strategy definition and work‑plan creation.
• Develop and maintain information security governance frameworks (policies, procedures, controls).
• Conduct cyber and IT risk assessments, gap analyses, and define mitigation plans.
• Guide customers through ISO 27001, ISO 27799, and ISO 27017 certification processes.
• Support implementation of privacy controls in line with the Israeli Privacy Protection Law and GDPR.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and professional content to client teams.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in information security consulting or management.
• Proven track record leading CISO‑level activities such as risk management, policy development, and executive presentations.
• Hands‑on experience with ISO 27001 certification projects.
• Familiarity with the Israeli Privacy Protection Law and GDPR requirements.
• Relevant academic background and certifications (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent 200+ hour cyber course).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Hebrew and strong interpersonal abilities.
