Cargo Operations Officer

About the role

The Cargo Operations Officer will support the commercial department by overseeing all operational aspects of aircraft cargo handling. This role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant processing of shipments while delivering high‑quality service to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage flight documentation, pouches and system data for imports and exports.
• Monitor cargo build‑up, track missing items and ensure timely flight closure.
• Oversee proper cargo placement, warehouse efficiency and dangerous goods handling in line with IATA and internal safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate system updates, support the cargo office and ensure clear communication across teams.
• Follow departmental procedures, guidelines and policies.

Required profile

• Minimum High School Diploma.
• 1‑3 years of experience in cargo airline, freight forwarder or GSA environment (preferred).
• Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems.
• Strong written and verbal English communication (basic level required).
• Ability to work under pressure, around the clock and handle multiple priorities.
• Attention to detail, accuracy and a strong work ethic.
