Buyer – Procurement Specialist

About the role

Quantum Machines is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Buyer to join its global Procurement team. The role supports both direct and indirect purchasing, ensuring material availability and smooth procurement processes for cutting‑edge quantum computing hardware.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full purchasing cycle from RFQ to purchase order and delivery.
• Support global procurement of production materials (electronic components, mechanical parts, PCBs, cables) and indirect categories (services, equipment, office supplies, software, facilities).
• Issue and track purchase orders, following up with suppliers to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Request quotations, compare offers, and assist in supplier negotiations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers in Israel and abroad.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Planning, Manufacturing, Finance and other internal stakeholders.
• Monitor open purchase orders and proactively resolve supply issues.
• Maintain accurate procurement data in the ERP system.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by coordinating material availability.
• Assist with supplier onboarding, documentation and reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain or operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics or a related field (advantageous).
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• PowerPoint competency.
• Experience with ERP systems (advantageous).
