Bookkeeper – Full‑time

About the role

We are seeking a professional Bookkeeper to join our accounting team at IFF Ingredients in Givat Oz. The role involves comprehensive bookkeeping tasks, from ledger maintenance to financial statement preparation, supporting our global operations in the flavor and fragrance industry.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain ledgers and prepare journal entries.
• Handle fixed‑asset and inventory accounting.
• Prepare trial balances, financial statements, and cost accounting reports.
• Perform bank account reconciliations.
• Enter supplier invoices (local and international) and process payments.
• Coordinate with procurement, HR, production, export and import departments.
• Post monthly accounting provisions and conduct general accounting tasks.
• Monitor and analyze unusual expenses and perform analytical reviews of selected accounts.
• Match supplier cards and extract data for monthly reporting.

Required profile

• Formal education in accounting (preferably Type 3).
• Minimum two years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Proven ability to track and analyze expense variances.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and bookkeeping processes.
• Experience with ledger management, journal entries, fixed‑asset and inventory accounting.
• Knowledge of trial balance and financial statement preparation.
• Bank reconciliation and cost accounting expertise.
• Familiarity with the Priority ERP system (advantage).
