Board Design Engineer

About the role

As a member of an advanced R&D team, you will design and develop cutting‑edge electronic boards for space observation systems. The position demands a strong system‑level understanding, deep technical expertise, and the ability to guide products from concept through production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex electronic boards for space applications, integrating analog and digital circuitry.
• Manage the full hardware design lifecycle: requirements definition, schematic capture, PCB layout, verification, and integration.
• Work with high‑speed interfaces and advanced components such as FPGA, processors, DDR4, SerDes, and related IP.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, software, firmware, systems) in a matrix environment.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, EMC, and space‑grade standards.
• Support the product through design reviews and transition to production.

Required profile

• BSc in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in electronic board design (analog/digital mixed‑signal systems).
• Proven experience designing space‑grade electronics.
• Excellent written and reading English for technical documentation.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Required skills

• FPGA and CPLD design (coding, simulation, synthesis, place‑and‑route).
• High‑speed PCB design and verification.
• Experience with DDR4, SerDes, and other high‑speed interfaces.
• Schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
• Analog and digital mixed‑signal board design.
• Video and image processing hardware knowledge (advantage).
