Attorney – Regulatory & Compliance

About the role

This position is for an experienced attorney to join the Legal Department of a leading financial company. The role focuses on providing legal, regulatory and compliance support in a highly regulated environment, working closely with regulators and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide ongoing legal and regulatory advice across the company’s activities, including reviewing laws, circulars, guidelines and regulatory positions.
• Prepare applications, reports, documents and submissions for regulators and competent authorities.
• Support compliance matters such as anti‑money laundering (AML), counter‑terrorist financing (CTF) and other regulatory requirements.
• Advise management and business functions on regulatory and legal issues and translate requirements into practical guidelines.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments, assess impact and assist in implementing necessary changes.

Required profile

• Valid Israeli law license.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an attorney in regulation, AML and compliance.
• Experience at a leading law firm specializing in regulatory matters or at a financial institution.
• Previous work with regulators, government authorities or the Capital Market, Insurance and Savings Authority is an advantage.
• Excellent legal drafting skills in Hebrew; English drafting is a plus.
