Assistant Controller

About the role

The role is designed for an entry‑level Assistant Controller supporting the Controller in key accounting and financial processes. It involves hands‑on participation in monthly closing, reconciliations, data preparation, reporting support, and ongoing financial analysis while building professional knowledge of the company’s business model, accounting workflows, internal controls, and cross‑functional interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly closing processes, including preparation of reconciliations, journal entry support, and review of supporting documentation.
• Assist with revenue, cost, and gross margin processes under guidance of senior finance team members.
• Prepare financial analyses, reports, and data validations to support management review and decision‑making.
• Maintain inventory, pricing, and partner‑related accounting activities, ensuring data accuracy.
• Assist in audit processes by preparing requested data, schedules, and backup documentation.
• Participate in ad‑hoc finance projects and process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a mandatory CPA license.
• Big 4 internship or experience and up to 2 years of relevant accounting, audit, or finance experience.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Hebrew.
• High attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proactive, responsible, and service‑oriented approach.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with NetSuite ERP.
