Architect – Advanced Industrial & High‑Tech Facilities

About the role

Jacobs’ Israel office is looking for an Architect to join a multidisciplinary team delivering complex industrial and high‑tech facilities such as semiconductor plants and data centres. The role offers exposure to all project phases, from concept through construction support, and requires close collaboration with engineers and specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate architectural design activities within a defined project scope, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Produce 2D and 3D architectural design solutions using integrated design platforms.
• Perform quality reviews of models and architectural deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and vendor evaluations.
• Support effort estimates and preparation of design deliverables for the architectural discipline.
• Contribute across all project phases, including concept design, master planning, design development, and construction support.
• Collaborate effectively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of professional architectural experience in industrial, high‑tech or advanced technology environments (e.g., semiconductor, manufacturing, data centres).
• Strong knowledge of building regulations, permitting processes and health & safety requirements.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to work on‑site five days per week at the Kiryat Gat office.
