Advanced Software Development Engineer

About the role

The NVIDIA Networking Advanced Development Software team is looking for an Advanced Software Development Engineer to create innovative software that drives future NVIDIA products and customer solutions. The role spans the full software stack, from user‑space applications to kernel‑level networking, device drivers, firmware and GPU code.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and prototype software across all layers (application, OS, driver, firmware) for high‑performance computing and AI infrastructure.
• Deliver proof‑of‑concepts and validated solutions that address emerging technologies in HPC, cloud, storage and networking.
• Provide technical guidance and collaborate with software architects, chip architects and engineering teams across NVIDIA.
• Work closely with strategic partners and customers to integrate and optimize solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of industry experience in software development.
• Strong understanding of multi‑core hardware, operating system concepts, concurrency, virtual memory, caching, interrupts and real‑time constraints.
• Excellent programming ability and a fast‑learning, can‑do attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
