Actuarial Assistant – Hybrid Role in West Jerusalem

About the role

DAAATA is seeking an Actuarial Assistant to join its West Jerusalem team. This full‑time hybrid position combines on‑site collaboration with remote work, supporting actuarial projects for financial and insurance clients.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, clean, and analyse data for pricing and risk models.
• Perform statistical and mathematical calculations to support actuarial decisions.
• Validate model assumptions and document methodologies.
• Prepare reports and summaries for internal teams and client stakeholders.
• Maintain data quality and assist in the development of insight‑driven recommendations.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Solid foundation in statistics, probability and actuarial modeling.
• Understanding of insurance products and risk‑management principles.
• Effective communication skills for presenting quantitative findings to non‑technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree or ongoing studies in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance or a related quantitative field.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with statistical software or programming languages such as R or Python.
