Senior High Speed Optical Transceiver Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for electrical engineers who can see the big picture of high‑end optical transceiver design. This position offers a rare opportunity to craft and deliver a new class of products that transmit data at incredible speeds, pushing high‑speed optical communication to new extremes.

Key responsibilities

• Detailed design of electrical schematics, board layout, and component selection.
• Lead multi‑discipline product design, collaborating with thermo‑mechanical, signal/power integrity, software, and optics teams.
• Perform hands‑on lab work to bring designs to life, evaluate performance, and drive improvements.
• Coordinate with qualification, supplier, and manufacturing groups to scale prototypes to high‑volume production.
• Explore and adopt new technologies to enable generational product enhancements.

Required profile

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Desire to work on multi‑discipline projects.
• Engineering mindset with understanding of physical trade‑offs.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced development environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of electro‑optic communication, high‑speed signals, or analog circuits.
• Hands‑on experience with electrical laboratory work.
• Previous experience in hardware/system design fields.
