Data Center Project Manager – Critical Projects Implementation

About the role

Amazon is seeking a Data Center Project Manager to lead and deliver critical infrastructure projects across its data centers. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, oversee construction activities, and ensure projects align with Amazon’s operational excellence standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own project scope, timeline, and budget for modifications to existing data‑center infrastructure.
• Manage initiatives that increase data‑center resiliency, including electrical, mechanical, fire detection, and building automation upgrades.
• Review and validate electrical designs, construction drawings, and commissioning plans.
• Create RFPs, capital requests, and project documentation.
• Track and report key performance metrics to stakeholders.
• Lead troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis for equipment or electrical failures.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure high‑quality project turnover.
• Travel within the EMEA region to support on‑site project execution.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, fire detection, and building automation systems.
• Proven ability to identify improvement opportunities and implement innovative solutions.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Willingness to travel and work in live data‑center environments.
