Algorithm Developer – Optical Wafer Inspection

About the role

We are seeking a highly talented Algorithm Developer to join our elite research group focused on cutting‑edge detection algorithms for next‑generation optical wafer inspection tools.

Key responsibilities

• Lead research, design, development, and implementation of algorithmic modules for optical inspection systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies, problem analysis, data gathering, literature review, and concept evaluation for image‑processing algorithms.
• Apply computer‑vision and deep‑learning techniques for image analysis, registration, pattern recognition, object detection and classification.
• Prototype algorithmic solutions, integrate them into products, and support the software team during evaluation.
• Optimize algorithms to reduce computational cost and influence hardware requirements.

Required profile

• Master’s or research background in Image/Signal Processing, Computer Vision, Detection, or Deep Learning.
• 10+ years of experience with strong expertise in computer vision, image processing, and deep‑learning technologies.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python and experience with PyTorch or a similar framework.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
