Tenure Track Position in Neuroscience

About the role

The Edmond and Lily Safra Center for Brain Sciences at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem invites an outstanding early‑career scientist to join as a full‑time tenure‑track faculty member. The position focuses on establishing an innovative, interdisciplinary research program that spans the spectrum from healthy brain function to disease.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead an independent research agenda in neuroscience.
• Build and manage a custom‑designed laboratory and secure start‑up funding.
• Collaborate across computational, cognitive and experimental neuroscience groups.
• Present research findings to the university neuroscience community and external audiences.
• Participate in recruitment, teaching, and mentorship within the top‑ranking interdisciplinary PhD program.

Required profile

• Excellent early‑career scientist with a strong publication record.
• Demonstrated interest in interdisciplinary neuroscience research.
• Experience or strong interest in computational and/or cognitive neuroscience is highly encouraged.
• Commitment to advancing equality, diversity, and representation of women in science.
