Senior Solution Engineer

About the role

Snowflake is looking for a Senior Solution Engineer based in Israel to help its customers solve complex data and platform challenges. The role is hybrid, with two days a week in the office and the rest spent visiting customers. You will work directly with the account sales team and channel partners to understand customer needs, support them through their technical evaluations and guide them toward Snowflake as their core data cloud solution.

Key responsibilities

• Present Snowflake's technology and vision to executives and technical stakeholders at prospects and customers.
• Demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake throughout the sales cycle, from demo to proof of concept, design and implementation.
• Create and develop technical champions in accounts to drive deals and secure technical wins.
• Present Snowflake roadmap features and position Snowflake against competitors and complementary technologies.
• Work with other sales engineers, Product Management, Engineering and Marketing to improve products and marketing.
• Represent Snowflake at industry or customer events and work with ecosystem and implementation partners on joint architectures and account strategies.
• Help co-develop account and territory plans and execute them.

Required profile

• Solution engineering or solution architect experience in a SaaS environment, or relevant industry experience such as data science or data engineering.
• Outstanding presentation skills for technical and executive audiences, including demos and whiteboard explanations.
• Understanding of data architecture, data analytics and cloud technology.
• Ability to solve customer-specific business problems and communicate Snowflake's vision verbally and in writing.
• Customer-facing skills with a wide range of technical and executive audiences.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with SQL.
• Preferred: Python, dbt, Spark, containers, DevOps tooling, orchestration tools, Git, AI, data science and machine learning.
