Senior Product Designer

About the role

HiO is looking for a senior product designer to shape the conversational experience of its AI business partner. You will own the end‑to‑end user journey, from the first 60 seconds of onboarding to the moment owners trust the AI to act on their behalf.

Key responsibilities

• Design the conversational and agent experience, defining how HiO speaks, displays information, and decides when to act autonomously.
• Own the onboarding flow from connecting the first channel to the first “approve and I’ll send” action, continuously reducing time‑to‑value.
• Create engagement loops such as proactive cards, daily/weekly rhythms, notifications, and habits that turn trials into regular usage.
• Drive product‑led growth touchpoints including signup, trial activation, upgrade, and in‑product moments that showcase value.
• Translate research, usage data, and support conversations into design decisions; interview owners when data is insufficient.
• Build and maintain a design system that enables rapid iteration across a small team.
• Write copy as an integral part of the interface, collaborating with product and marketing.
• Partner closely with engineering to ship features, measure outcomes, and iterate quickly.

Required profile

• 5+ years designing digital products, with at least one product taken from early stage to real adoption.
• Portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end ownership: research, flow design, interaction detail, visual craft, and measurable outcomes.
• Strong instincts for conversational, AI‑driven, or agentic interfaces, or a clear point of view on their challenges.
• Experience designing onboarding, activation, and retention loops, preferably in a self‑serve or product‑led growth (PLG) context.
• Comfort with data: ability to read funnels, session recordings, form hypotheses, and run design experiments.
• Excellent writing skills; able to convey complex ideas in concise copy.
• Ownership mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, quick decision‑making, and adapting based on evidence.
