Senior IT Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior IT Procurement Specialist to join the Technology & Innovation Division of Phoenix Financial. The role combines procurement expertise with deep knowledge of technology products and services, supporting the company’s $140 billion asset management business. You will be at the intersection of technology and procurement, ensuring the organization obtains the best value and quality for its IT investments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end procurement processes for software, hardware, cloud services, communications and other IT solutions.
• Negotiate contracts and commercial terms with local and international vendors.
• Analyse price proposals, prepare purchase orders and ensure compliance with budget, policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Technology managers and project teams throughout the procurement lifecycle.
• Track and monitor purchase orders and vendor performance.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations throughout the procurement cycle.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting for all IT procurement activities.
• Support project managers with timely acquisition of required technology resources.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Economics, Business Administration, Law or a technical discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of procurement experience, including large and complex deals.
• Proven experience in commercial and legal negotiations with international stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Experience in IT procurement (software, hardware, communications, cloud services) – highly desirable.
