Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA II) – Hematology Phase I

About the role

ICON plc is seeking an experienced Clinical Research Associate (CRA II) to support Hematology Phase I studies. You will work within a sponsor‑dedicated team, ensuring high‑quality trial monitoring and compliance across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate study set‑up and ongoing monitoring activities, producing accurate status reports and maintaining documentation.
• Manage sponsor‑generated queries efficiently and contribute to cost‑effective study execution.
• Participate in feasibility assessments and preparation/review of study documents for new proposals.
• Develop strong relationships with investigators, site staff, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure patient safety by adhering to ICON procedures, study protocols, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• University degree in medicine, science or a related field.
• Solid experience in clinical trial monitoring, preferably in Hematology or Rheumatology Phase I studies.
• Strong knowledge of ICH‑GCP guidelines and ability to evaluate medical data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
