Sales Representative - Surgery

About the role

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a Sales Representative for its Surgery division to drive growth of surgical product lines in operating rooms across Northern Israel. The role involves building strong relationships with surgeons and healthcare professionals and delivering innovative surgical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales of surgical products through strategic prospecting, customer engagement and relationship‑building with surgeons, hospitals and medical centres.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key decision‑makers, including operating‑room staff and procurement teams.
• Present and demonstrate Ethicon’s surgical products, highlighting features, benefits and clinical applications.
• Analyse market trends, customer needs and competitive landscape to tailor sales strategies and maximise market share.
• Monitor and report on sales activities, pipeline status and customer feedback.
• Collaborate with the clinical support team to provide product training, handle inquiries and support surgical procedures.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (MBA is an advantage).
• Strong sales and negotiation skills with excellent communication abilities.
• Deep understanding of the healthcare market and ability to identify business opportunities.
• Self‑directed learner with capacity to master clinical materials in English.
• Demonstrated excellence in sports, academia or previous career achievements.
• Willingness to travel within the central areas of Israel (70% of time spent in operating rooms).
• Fluency in Hebrew and English.

Required skills

• Clinical product knowledge of surgical devices.
