Principal Accountant

About the role

MiniMed is seeking a highly analytical Principal Accountant to join its Controllership team in Israel. The role focuses on ensuring accurate financial statements, inventory accounting, transfer pricing for R&D, and US GAAP compliance in a post‑spin‑off environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and analyze financial statements under US GAAP and local GAAP, including monthly, quarterly and annual close deliverables.
• Oversee inventory accounting processes, perform reconciliations, and support physical inventory counts.
• Document and account for intercompany R&D transactions, ensuring compliance with transfer pricing policies.
• Support SAP S/4HANA transition, data migration, testing and design of accounting processes.
• Collaborate with Tax, Treasury, FP&A, Supply Chain, R&D Finance and Legal, and act as a point of contact for external auditors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field with 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with US GAAP, inventory accounting and SOX compliance.
• Fluent in Hebrew and English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP ERP (SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, complex formulas, financial modeling).
