NPI Engineer

About the role

KLA, a global leader in electronics for the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem, is hiring an NPI Engineer in Migdal Ha-emek as part of its R&D department. The engineer leads the transition of new products from development to manufacturing and acts as the main link between R&D and Operations, ensuring successful product releases and manufacturing readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead NPI activities throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring on-time transfer of new products from development to manufacturing.
• Serve as the primary R&D point of contact for manufacturing and service.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Service.
• Manage BOM structures, configuration control, engineering change orders and release activities.
• Drive manufacturing readiness through beta builds, material planning, risk management and production release execution.

Required profile

• BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or an equivalent engineering/scientific field.
• 3+ years of experience in new product introduction, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Engineering, Product Engineering or similar roles.
• Demonstrated project and program management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
