Medical Advisor Oncology

About the role

AbbVie is seeking a Medical Advisor in Oncology to join its Israel team. In this role you will act as a trusted medical and scientific partner, supporting the brand team and cross‑functional stakeholders with clinical expertise, strategic insight, and ethical decision‑making. You will help shape the medical strategy, engage with key opinion leaders, and translate emerging scientific evidence into solutions that improve patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the medical and scientific partner to the Brand Team and cross‑functional groups, providing clinical expertise for patient‑focused decisions.
• Contribute to the development and execution of the medical strategy and annual medical plan in alignment with Global Medical Affairs.
• Provide accurate, balanced, and timely medical information, scientific guidance, and training to internal stakeholders, including the sales force.
• Review promotional and training materials to ensure scientific accuracy, balance, and compliance.
• Support Regulatory Affairs and Market Access by delivering relevant medical and scientific input.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders in oncology.
• Represent AbbVie at scientific presentations, advisory boards, lectures, and educational activities.
• Organise and moderate advisory boards, scientific lectures, and other medical events in compliance with applicable requirements.
• Participate in scientific congresses, conferences, and medical meetings to stay current with emerging data and standards of care.
• Develop and maintain in‑depth knowledge of AbbVie’s oncology products and therapeutic area.
