Mechanical Design Specialist – SolidWorks & CNC Expertise

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Specialist to join Mechanical Devices, a leader in temperature‑forcing solutions for the semiconductor industry. The successful candidate will turn concepts into manufacturable mechanical components, supporting both product development and production.

Key responsibilities

• Develop 3‑D models, assemblies and detailed drawings using SolidWorks.
• Design sheet‑metal parts and create fabrication drawings.
• Prepare CNC milling programs and collaborate with machining workshops.
• Produce precise technical drawings for manufacturing and assembly.
• Work closely with engineering, project management and assembly teams to ensure designs meet cost and production requirements.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in mechanical product development and production support.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, especially CNC machining and sheet‑metal fabrication.
• Ability to visualise parts in 3‑D and translate them into practical solutions.
