Legal Counsel

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Legal Counsel to join our Operations team at PlainID. In this position you will support a broad range of legal matters, work closely with Commercial and Executive teams, and help implement the company’s go‑to‑market strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Support and manage legal processes across the company in collaboration with Commercial and Executive stakeholders.
• Participate in meetings with prospective clients, providing guidance on legal and operational issues.
• Review, negotiate and finalize commercial contracts, including license agreements, service orders and related documents with customers, partners and vendors.
• Provide practical, business‑oriented legal advice to management on a variety of commercial matters.
• Collaborate with external counsel, supplying business and commercial input for legal discussions.
• Assist with day‑to‑day legal operations and ongoing company legal matters.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in commercial law, gained at a leading law firm or a high‑tech company.
• Proven experience reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Previous in‑house experience in a technology company is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively in a globally distributed, fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to handle legal and corporate matters independently while knowing when to seek additional guidance.
• Strategic, solution‑oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to challenges.
