IT Operations Manager

About the role

Autofleet enables the world's largest fleet operators and transportation providers to optimize operations and launch new mobility services at scale. As it grows globally, it is looking for an experienced, hands-on IT Manager to own and scale its internal IT operations, infrastructure and employee technology experience. The role covers the day-to-day operation, reliability and scalability of the IT environment across offices and remote employees worldwide, working closely with Security, HR, Facilities, external vendors and the parent company Element.

Key responsibilities

• Own internal IT operations and employee technical support globally, including onboarding/offboarding, endpoint provisioning and access management
• Troubleshoot escalated hardware, software, connectivity and infrastructure issues, and improve IT processes, documentation and support workflows
• Manage office networks, wireless environments, VPN connectivity and related vendors, and troubleshoot network performance and reliability
• Support SaaS platforms, identity and access systems and cloud-managed infrastructure
• Administer MDM and endpoint management platforms (e.g. Kandji) and work with Security on endpoint compliance, VPN/SASE solutions and device security
• Manage relationships with external IT vendors and coordinate shared infrastructure and escalations with Element
• Lead IT improvement initiatives and infrastructure projects

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in IT operations, systems administration or internal IT infrastructure roles
• Strong experience supporting macOS environments
• Ability to manage external IT vendors and escalations, and to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Nice to have: experience in high-growth startups, familiarity with Fortinet, Google Workspace or Harmony SASE, and experience supporting hybrid/global teams
