Global Distribution and Customer Logistics Manager

About the role

DePuy Synthes is recruiting a Global Distribution and Customer Logistics (GDCL) Manager in the Shefayim area, Israel. The role combines asset management, consignment and loaner management with customer service, warehousing, distribution and transportation, and leads local GDCL strategy while partnering with Commercial, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance and external logistics partners. It is a people leader position within the supply chain function.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for GDCL activities in Israel, aligned with regional and global objectives.
• Lead and develop local GDCL teams, fostering accountability, talent development and continuous improvement.
• Lead the local aspects of the Legal Entity Separation (LES) and set up an independent, sustainable supply chain organization.
• Own order-to-cash logistics performance, including fulfillment, distribution, warehousing, transportation and customer delivery metrics.
• Partner with Commercial, Customer Service, Quality, Regulatory and Finance on service excellence, compliance and financial discipline.
• Manage and optimize third-party logistics (3PL) partners, contracts, service levels and costs.
• Ensure compliance with GDP, regulatory and quality standards, and lead corrective actions where needed.
• Drive process improvement, reduce cost-to-serve and improve customer experience.
• Lead regional change initiatives such as system enhancements, network optimization and business transformation.
• Manage local and in-field consignment inventory, instrument investment and loaner management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering or related); Master's or MBA preferred.
• Typically 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, customer logistics or distribution, in a regulated environment such as MedTech, Pharma or Healthcare.
• Demonstrated people leadership experience, including managing supervisors and/or senior individual contributors.
• Proven ability to manage external logistics partners and complex vendor relationships.
• Experience in licensed import and distribution activities.
• Fluent English and Hebrew required; up to about 20% regional and international travel.

• Preferred: multi-country or regional EMEA experience, SAP or similar ERP familiarity, matrixed global organization experience, medical device or healthcare supply chain background, Lean Management, and Lean, Six Sigma, APICS or similar certifications.
