Experienced RF/Analog Engineer

About the role

Renesas Electronics is looking for an experienced RF/Analog engineer in Raanana to handle pre- and post-silicon activities for RF, analog and PHY system circuit building blocks. The goal is to meet functional and performance specifications and give Renesas a competitive edge in the IC market.

Key responsibilities

• Identify problems during the pre-silicon phase and implement RF/analog driver definitions and fixes.
• Define how the block and system are evaluated, how key parameters are tested and correlated, and bring up the chip in the lab.
• Evaluate chip performance, debug block and system issues, optimize silicon performance and support design with issue mitigation.
• Own the full documentation and results of the block and system level.
• Define automation and tooling for analysis, debugging and data collection, analyse data statistics and provide formal datasheet parameters.

Required profile

• More than 3 years of experience in RF, hardware, analog or board design.
• Real hands-on experience in RX/TX chain design.
• Proficiency in English, written and spoken, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to convince others technically, assertively inform superiors and peers, and act as a team player who mentors colleagues.
• Goal-oriented, able to set and meet deadlines.
• Desired: Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
