Electrician – Maintenance & Installation

About the role

As an Electrician with CBRE, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment across assigned facilities. The position is part of the Engineering and Technical Services team, providing essential support to keep building systems operating safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the general operation, repair, and maintenance of electrical and lighting systems.
• Perform new equipment installations and replace faulty components such as valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, and related parts.
• Develop and follow proactive inspection, testing, and preventive‑maintenance schedules based on historical records.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and local electrical codes.
• Provide reliable service to internal customers and document work performed.

Required profile

• High School Diploma, GED or trade school diploma with 3‑4 years of relevant experience.
• Completion of a formal apprenticeship program is preferred.
• Master Electrician license as required by local codes.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet physical demands (lifting 50 lb, climbing ladders, etc.).
• Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.

Required skills

• Master Electrician license.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience in electrical systems maintenance and installations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and maintenance records.
