Controller – Finance Lead for Israel Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead finance activities for our Israel operations. The role owns the Israel entity’s financial results, provides business insights to management, ensures statutory compliance and supports strategic decisions through rigorous analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Israel entity’s P&L, balance sheet and operating expenses, delivering accurate monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
• Lead budgeting, quarterly forecasting and long‑range planning, analysing variances and building financial models for strategic initiatives.
• Partner with Israel leadership and functional managers, delivering actionable recommendations to improve operational and financial performance.
• Manage local tax reporting, VAT, corporate tax filings and coordinate audits with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Maintain internal controls, drive process automation and support finance transformation projects.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• CPA certification and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
• 8+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including 3+ years of people‑management.
• Strong knowledge of Israeli tax regulations, statutory reporting and US GAAP.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and business partnering within multinational organisations.
