Clinical Applications Engineer - Medical Imaging

About the role

The Clinical Applications Engineer acts as the core clinical expert for the development and field support of SPECT/CT, PET/CT and radiology reading solutions. The role turns customer and user needs into application concepts and detailed engineering requirements, works with cross-functional teams across the product lifecycle, and supports usability, documentation, training, regulatory submissions, clinical evaluations, product pilots and advanced field inquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, prioritize and shape user requirements.
• Design new applications and features.
• Work closely with cross-functional engineering groups to turn customer needs into detailed engineering design requirements.
• Support product lifecycle activities such as usability, user manuals, application training, regulatory submissions, clinical evaluation summaries, medical evaluations and product pilots.
• Collaborate with customers and internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the field by answering advanced customer queries.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics or a related field.
• At least three years of experience in clinical applications, system engineering or a similar role in medical imaging.
• Fluent spoken and written English and Hebrew.
• Ability to manage several tasks at once, work independently and in a team.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of physics and imaging modality fundamentals.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
• Proficiency with AI tools to improve efficiency and quality of own work.

Preferred: a master's degree, experience interacting directly with customers and field teams, specific experience in CT, PET-CT or Nuclear Medicine, and experience in global companies. The position is open to men and women equally; relocation assistance is not provided.
