Chief Engineer – Civil Engineering & Infrastructure

About the role

A leading civil engineering and general contracting firm in Israel is looking for a seasoned Chief Engineer to serve as the highest engineering authority. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will guide engineering practices, field execution standards, and technical teams across all projects.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the supreme engineering authority, mentoring regional managers and on‑site teams.
• Raise engineering standards and build robust technical infrastructure for every business unit.
• Direct project engineering execution while ensuring strict adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
• Supervise engineering teams, subcontractors, and consultants, providing real‑time technical solutions to on‑site challenges.
• Guarantee regulatory compliance, engineering standards, and unlimited contractor classification requirements.
• Develop and implement advanced execution methodologies for complex project specifications.
• Collaborate with the executive leadership team to deliver innovative engineering solutions and cross‑departmental support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Extensive senior‑level experience in engineering and execution management within large‑scale contracting or infrastructure firms.
• Proven hands‑on field execution background and track record managing multi‑disciplinary teams through full project lifecycles.
• In‑depth experience with unlimited contractor classifications.
