Assistant Controller

About the role

abra Finance is looking for a motivated CPA to join its Finance team as an Assistant Controller. This full‑time, on‑site role in Ra'anana offers the chance to transition from a Big 4 environment to a publicly traded technology company while gaining exposure to IFRS reporting, tax compliance, and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
• Manage tax reporting and ensure compliance with local authorities.
• Coordinate with external auditors and advisors throughout audit engagements.
• Monitor internal controls and help implement financial control processes.
• Assist in budget preparation, variance analysis, and ad‑hoc financial analyses.
• Identify and improve financial workflows and accounting processes.

Required profile

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – mandatory.
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting or financial control.
• Background in a Big 4 accounting firm.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local tax regulations.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.
