Arabic‑Speaking Humanitarian Program Officer (Tel Aviv)

About the role

IsraAID is seeking Arabic‑speaking humanitarian professionals to join its Middle‑East portfolio. The positions involve designing, tracking, and implementing projects in public health, mental health & psychosocial support (MHPSS), child protection, and WASH across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and adapt project proposals, work plans, and monitoring frameworks for Arabic‑speaking beneficiaries.
• Coordinate with local partners, international NGOs, and Israeli authorities to ensure timely delivery of aid.
• Collect, analyse, and report data on project performance and impact.
• Provide technical guidance in public health, MHPSS, or WASH as required by the assignment.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to humanitarian principles of impartiality and neutrality.

Required profile

• Fluent Arabic (spoken and written) with strong English communication skills.
• Proven experience in humanitarian project design, implementation, and monitoring.
• Background in public health, mental health & psychosocial support, or water, sanitation, and hygiene.
• Willingness to work from IsraAID’s headquarters in Tel Aviv at least three days per week.

Required skills

• Project management methodologies (e.g., logical framework, results‑based management).
• Data collection and reporting tools used in humanitarian settings.
• Knowledge of humanitarian standards and best practices.
