About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a bright Algorithms Engineer specialized in Computer Vision and Deep Learning to join its E‑beam Inspection (EBI) algorithm team in Rehovot, Israel. You will work on applied research that pushes state‑of‑the‑art performance and helps create groundbreaking semiconductor inspection products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop end‑to‑end algorithmic solutions for challenging e‑beam inspection problems, delivering functional software to customers.
• Conduct applied research to achieve and surpass state‑of‑the‑art performance in computer‑vision and yield‑control applications.

Required profile

• Innovative mindset with a “can‑do” attitude.
• M.Sc. (or higher) in exact sciences.
• 4+ years of algorithm development experience, extensive coding in Python.
• Practical experience with Computer Vision, Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
• Fast learner with strong autodidactic capabilities; multidisciplinary product experience is a plus.
