Senior Bookkeeper & Payroll Accountant – Manufacturing Tech (SOX)

About the role

Variscite is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper and Payroll Accountant to join its Finance team in the Lod industrial zone. Reporting to the Chief Bookkeeper, you will support a fast‑growing manufacturing tech company that designs System on Module solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle bookkeeping up to the balance‑sheet level.
• Oversee payroll processes, salary preparation and related reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Perform bank, supplier, customer and credit‑card reconciliations, fixed‑asset tracking and travel‑expense reporting.
• Handle ongoing tax reporting (VAT, withholding tax, income tax) to authorities.
• Collaborate closely with the company controller.
• Execute routine payments, invoicing and expense‑report handling.
• Collect receivables from business customers locally and abroad.

Required profile

• Certified Bookkeeper (Type 3) with payroll certification.
• 8‑10 years of full‑cycle bookkeeping experience up to balance‑sheet.
• Background in a public company with SOX compliance and quarterly closings.
• Experience in the industrial or manufacturing sector.
• Proven record in collections from international business customers.
• Strong English proficiency and advanced Excel skills.
• Independent, precise, organized and able to work under pressure.
