About the role

We are seeking outstanding and motivated candidates to join the Physics Unit at SCE Sami Shamoon College of Engineering for PhD‑level and postdoctoral research. The position involves independent and collaborative work in cutting‑edge topics such as the mathematical foundations of quantum mechanics, hyper‑entangled states, mathematical physics, and high‑energy QCD.

Key responsibilities

• Design and carry out theoretical research projects in the listed areas.
• Publish results in peer‑reviewed journals and present at international conferences.
• Collaborate with faculty members and graduate students on interdisciplinary studies.
• Contribute to the preparation of research proposals and grant applications.

Required profile

• PhD degree in physics (or a closely related field).
