Medical Scientific Liaison – Immunology (Israel)

About the role

The Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) will act as a scientific ambassador for Novartis in Israel, focusing on Immunology. Based in the field, the MSL will enable peer‑to‑peer scientific exchange with healthcare professionals and medical experts, supporting evidence‑based decision making and informing medical strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Execute Medical Expert engagement plans aligned with therapeutic area priorities, identifying and involving key opinion leaders.
• Conduct unbiased, evidence‑based scientific exchange with HCPs and MEs, sharing up‑to‑date clinical data and publications.
• Collect and synthesize actionable insights from clinical practice and competitive activities to shape local medical strategy.
• Support evidence generation by qualifying potential study sites and facilitating communication between sites and internal teams.
• Build and maintain partnerships with medical experts, scientific societies, and academic institutions to strengthen scientific leadership.
• Ensure all engagements, materials, and documentation comply with regulatory and company governance requirements.

Required profile

• Advanced scientific degree (MD, PharmD, DVM, DMD, PhD) or equivalent.
• Fluent in Hebrew and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, planning and territory‑management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment and influence without authority.
• Proven capability to interpret complex scientific and clinical data and present insights to diverse audiences.
• Resilient, agile mindset with a growth orientation.
