Engagement Financial Advisor (EFA) Specialist

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an Engagement Financial Advisor (EFA) Specialist to oversee the financial management of client engagements from inception through completion. The role blends financial analysis, project controlling, forecasting, billing, and collection with business partnering to drive profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project budgeting, pricing, forecasting and monitor financial performance.
• Track revenue, profitability, utilization and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) metrics against plans.
• Prepare and analyse financial reports, highlighting red flags and delivery insights for partners and engagement leaders.
• Provide financial guidance and recommendations to improve project economics.
• Oversee billing processes, collections and financial reconciliations, including interfacing with external client payment systems.
• Maintain ongoing collaboration with project leaders and finance teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.
• Experience in finance, controlling, budgeting or financial analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; SAP experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders in a medium‑size or larger organization.
• Independent work style with effective priority management.
• Fluent in Hebrew and strong English communication skills.
