Director of Sales

About the role

Leads and manages all day‑to‑day sales activities for the property, focusing on building long‑term, value‑based customer relationships and achieving sales objectives. The role also drives personal booking goals and supports the team in meeting their targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies in collaboration with senior leadership, creating plans that address revenue, customers and market segments.
• Lead the team to maximize revenue by setting personal booking goals, recommending booking targets and approving space releases for catering.
• Monitor daily sales activities, participate in sales calls, and manage the operational aspects of bookings, including proposals and contracts.
• Analyze market and financial data, support revenue management with forecasts, and review guest satisfaction results to drive improvements.
• Ensure exceptional customer service by overseeing guest interactions, gathering feedback, and embedding service standards across the department.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, attending trade shows and events to strengthen the sales pipeline.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management or related field with 3 years sales/marketing experience, OR a 4‑year degree with 1 year experience.
• Extensive experience with international or large local hotel chains in Israel and a proven track record in hospitality sales.
• Specific experience in the Israeli market is required.
