Commercial Legal Counsel – Renewable Energy

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Legal Counsel to join a fast‑growing renewable energy company. You will provide strategic legal support across business development, project development, land agreements and complex commercial transactions within the renewable energy sector.

Key responsibilities

• Provide ongoing legal counsel to the company and its renewable energy projects.
• Draft, review, negotiate and manage complex commercial agreements, including EPC, O&M, PPA, financing, land agreements and other contracts.
• Support legal aspects of transactions from initiation through completion.
• Assist business development and project development activities.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Business Development, Engineering, Operations and Finance.
• Monitor and advise on regulatory and legal matters relevant to the energy sector.

Required profile

• Licensed Israeli attorney.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial law with proven expertise in the energy sector, preferably renewable energy.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and lead complex commercial agreements.
• Strong understanding of energy‑sector regulation and legal frameworks.
• Excellent business acumen, independent working ability and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
