Commercial Legal Counsel

About the role

Global-e, the world’s leading platform for global direct‑to‑consumer e‑commerce, is looking for a Commercial Legal Counsel to join its Client Affairs team. The role partners closely with Sales, Customer Success and senior management to support the full lifecycle of client agreements while protecting the company’s interests.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of international commercial agreements, primarily client‑facing agreements, including master services agreements, amendments and addendums.
• Serve as the primary legal point of contact for Sales and Customer Success on all client‑related legal matters, focusing on the US market and balancing deal velocity with risk management.
• Advise on and negotiate data protection and privacy clauses, including data‑sharing agreements, as part of client contracts.
• Support contract management, improve legal operations and collaborate with Finance, Product and Compliance on cross‑functional client matters.
• Support regulatory and compliance requirements applicable to client agreements across relevant jurisdictions.

Required profile

• Qualified attorney in Israel with at least 4 years of post‑qualification experience, either in‑house at a technology/e‑commerce company or at a leading law firm.
• Strong experience in international commercial law, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating client‑facing commercial agreements.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and risk‑assessment skills with a practical, solution‑oriented approach.
• Proven ability to support Sales and Customer Success teams in a fast‑paced, high‑volume deal environment while maintaining commercial focus.
• Independent yet collaborative work style, strong organizational and prioritization abilities, and sound judgment.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
