Commercial Lawyer – Tech Division

About the role

Herzog Fox & Neeman is seeking a Commercial Lawyer to join the product and commercial team of its Tech Division. The role focuses on advising emerging technology companies and startups on product‑related legal matters and ongoing business operations across sectors such as generative AI, cybersecurity, AdTech, fintech, defense and medical.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on technology transactions and product development.
• Draft and review SaaS agreements, software licensing contracts, terms of use, privacy policies, finder and reseller agreements, consultancy agreements and open‑source licences.
• Support product teams in aligning legal requirements with business objectives.
• Monitor regulatory developments and ensure compliance for local and international clients.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to mitigate legal risks.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience at a leading law firm in Israel or a common‑law jurisdiction (US, UK, Canada, Australia).
• Graduated from a top educational institution and admitted to practice law in Israel and/or the relevant jurisdiction.
• Native‑level proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Passionate about technology, fast‑paced environments and emerging startups.
• Proactive mindset with strong interpersonal skills and a positive work ethic.

Required skills

• Demonstrated expertise in technology and product law.
• Experience drafting SaaS and software licensing agreements.
• Knowledge of privacy law and open‑source licensing.
• Ability to review and negotiate commercial contracts.
