Tenure Track Neuroscience Faculty Position

About the role

The Hebrew University of Jerusalem invites an outstanding early‑career scientist to join its Edmond and Lily Safra Center for Brain Sciences as a tenure‑track faculty member. The position focuses on establishing an innovative, interdisciplinary research program that investigates brain mechanisms from health to disease.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead an independent research agenda in neuroscience.
• Conduct experimental and/or computational studies on brain function.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across the Center.
• Present research findings to the university neuroscience community.
• Mentor graduate and undergraduate students.

Required profile

• Excellent early‑career scientist with a strong publication record.
• Demonstrated interest in interdisciplinary neuroscience research.
• Experience studying brain mechanisms across the health‑disease spectrum.
• Computational or cognitive neuroscience background is especially encouraged.
