Tax Manager – Quality Control

About the role

Deloitte Israel is looking for a Tax Manager to join its Quality Control team within the Tax practice. The role focuses on reviewing complex tax returns and positions for leading Israeli companies, identifying material exposures, and providing practical guidance to both Tax and Audit teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth quality reviews of complex corporate and international tax returns and positions.
• Identify material tax exposures, reporting gaps, high‑risk positions and tax‑planning opportunities.
• Analyze tax aspects of financial reporting and provide clear, well‑supported guidance.
• Collaborate closely with Partners, Directors and senior managers across the Audit practice.
• Contribute to professional training, workshops and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.
• Manage multiple assignments and stakeholder relationships while meeting tight deadlines.
• Mentor and support the professional development of team members.

Required profile

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification – mandatory.
• 5–7 years of taxation experience gained at a Big Four firm or the Israel Tax Authority.
• Broad and in‑depth knowledge of corporate tax, international tax, Israeli tax incentive legislation and tax aspects of financial reporting.
• Proven ability to manage relationships with senior partners and directors.
• Previous experience leading or managing professional teams.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
